We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced ServiceNow Engineer and Platform Lead to oversee the design, development, and optimization of our ServiceNow platform. This role is responsible for leading the technical strategy, architecture, and delivery of ServiceNow solutions across all modules, ensuring alignment with business objectives and IT service management best practices.

responsibilities:

Key Responsibilities

  • Platform Leadership & Strategy

  • Serve as the technical owner and subject matter expert for the ServiceNow platform.

  • Define and drive the platform roadmap, architecture, and governance.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to align platform capabilities with business needs.

  • Solution Design & Development

  • Lead the design and implementation of ServiceNow modules including ITSM, ITOM, ITBM

  • HRSD, CSM, SecOps, GRC, and CMDB.
  • Develop custom applications and workflows using ServiceNow Studio and scripting (JavaScript, Glide).
  • Ensure scalable, secure, and maintainable solutions.

  • Team & Project Leadership

  • Mentor and guide junior engineers and administrators.

  • Manage platform upgrades, patching, and release cycles.
  • Lead agile development teams and manage sprint planning and delivery

  • Integration & Automation

  • Design and implement integrations with third-party systems using REST/SOAP APIs, MID Servers, and IntegrationHub.

  • Automate processes using Flow Designer, Business Rules, and Scheduled Jobs.

  • Governance & Compliance

  • Establish and enforce development standards, documentation, and best practices

  • Ensure platform compliance with security, data privacy, and regulatory requirements.

qualifications:

Required Qualifications

  • 7+ years of hands-on experience with ServiceNow platform development and

administration.

  • Proven experience leading ServiceNow implementations across multiple modules.
  • Strong understanding of ITIL framework and enterprise service management.
  • Expertise in scripting (JavaScript, Glide), UI policies, ACLs, and data modeling.
  • Experience with ServiceNow integrations and automation tools.
  • ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) and Certified Implementation Specialist

(CIS) in one or more modules.

  • Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with ServiceNow App Engine and custom application development.
  • Familiarity with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines in ServiceNow.
  • Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) and enterprise architecture.
  • ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD) or Certified Technical Architect (CTA).
