Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and efficient Dishwasher to join our team in a fast-paced hospitality environment. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining cleanliness and organization in our kitchen, ensuring that all dishes, utensils, and cooking equipment are properly cleaned and sanitized. This position will also involve maintenance and the upkeep of our restaurant as well as putting up truck orders.

Responsibilities

  • Wash and sanitize dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, and pans using commercial dishwashing equipment.
  • Maintain cleanliness of the dishwashing area, including floors and countertops.
  • Assist with food preparation tasks as needed, supporting the culinary team in delivering high-quality meals.
  • Ensure all kitchen equipment is cleaned and stored properly after use.
  • Dispose of waste materials in accordance with health and safety regulations.
  • Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure a smooth workflow during busy service periods.
  • Follow all food safety protocols and maintain a clean working environment at all times.
  • Putting up any truck orders that are delivered that day.
  • Bending and lifting up to 50 lbs.
  • Deep cleaning any areas that needs attending too.

Experience

  • Previous experience in a hotel, restaurant, or food service setting is preferred but not required.
  • Familiarity with culinary practices and food handling standards is a plus.
  • A strong work ethic and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment are essential.
  • Attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness are critical for success in this role.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team while also being self-motivated when necessary.
