*We are seeking one or two caregivers, one for a Mt. Pleasant client M-F 9:30-2:30 and one downtown Sunday, Monday and Wednesday 10pm-6am

Summary

We are seeking a compassionate and reliable Caregiver to join our team at Care Companions. In this role, you will provide essential support and companionship to clients in their homes, making a meaningful difference in their lives while ensuring their comfort and well-being.

Responsibilities

  • Assist clients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and meal preparation.
  • Provide companionship and emotional support to enhance clients' quality of life.
  • Implement care plans tailored to individual client needs and preferences.
  • Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and maintain client confidentiality.
  • Monitor clients' health and report any changes to the healthcare team.
  • Assist with medication reminders and basic health monitoring.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in home care or caregiving is required
  • Must be a female as the Client is female and has requested the Caregiver be a female as well
  • Strong interpersonal skills with a compassionate approach to client care.
  • Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and commitment to maintaining confidentiality.
  • Ability to assist with personal care tasks effectively.
  • Familiarity with dementia care practices is a plus.
  • Must be able to pass a background check and drug screen
