Multi-Language Sales Associate

Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and customer-focused Sales Associate to join our retail team. This role involves engaging with customers, demonstrating products, and providing exceptional service to enhance the shopping experience. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, a passion for sales, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Multilingual abilities and experience in technology or retail sales are highly valued to better serve our diverse customer base.
Duties
- Greet customers warmly and assist them in finding products that meet their needs
- Conduct product demonstrations and explain features to customers effectively
- Upsell additional products or services to maximize sales opportunities
- Manage point-of-sale (POS) transactions accurately, including cash handling and cashiering duties
- Maintain merchandising displays and ensure the sales floor is organized and inviting
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing questions and resolving concerns promptly
- Assist with inventory management, stock replenishment, and product placement
- Utilize strong communication skills to engage with customers via phone or in person
- Demonstrate organizational skills by managing multiple tasks efficiently during shifts
- Follow company policies on time management, phone etiquette, and sales procedures
Requirements
- Previous experience in retail sales, technology sales, or customer service is preferred
- Bilingual or multilingual abilities are a plus for serving diverse clientele
- Strong communication skills, including phone etiquette and active listening
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and POS operations
- Ability to perform product demos and explain technical features clearly
- Organizational skills to manage merchandising and stock levels effectively
- Time management skills to prioritize tasks during busy periods
- Knowledge of retail tools such as POS systems and merchandising techniques
- Customer service-oriented mindset with a friendly, professional demeanor
- Ability to work flexible hours including weekends or evenings if required
