Summary

The role as a CT Technologist is vital in delivering high-quality imaging services at our facility in Chattanooga. You will be instrumental in supporting our mission to provide accurate diagnostics through state-of-the-art imaging technology, ensuring excellent patient care and safety.

Responsibilities

  • Operate CT imaging equipment to produce detailed diagnostic images.
  • Ensure patient safety and comfort during procedures.
  • Prepare and position patients accurately for scans.
  • Maintain strict adherence to safety protocols and infection control standards.
  • Collaborate with radiologists and healthcare team members for optimal results.
  • Document procedures and maintain accurate patient records.
  • Assist in the calibration and maintenance of imaging equipment.
  • Stay updated with the latest advancements in CT technology and techniques.
  • Qualifications
  • Certified Radiologic Technologist with CT specialization.
  • Proven experience operating CT scanners in a clinical setting.
  • Knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology.
  • Strong understanding of radiation safety protocols.
  • Excellent communication skills and patient care orientation.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Preferred: Experience with PET/CT, Mammography, or Nuclear Medicine.
  • Certification from ARRT or equivalent required.
