Job Summary

We are seeking passionate and dedicated Part-Time Childcare Teachers to join our team. The ideal candidates will have a strong background in early childhood education and experience working with young children. This role involves creating engaging learning environments, implementing age-appropriate curricula, and supporting children's developmental needs in a nurturing setting. Candidates should be committed to fostering a positive, safe, and stimulating atmosphere that promotes growth and learning for all children.

Hours

Monday-Friday 2:30pm-6:00pm with more hours based on business need and employee availability

Duties

  • Provide attentive toddler care and preschool instruction, ensuring each child's individual needs are met.
  • Manage classroom activities to promote positive behavior management and effective classroom management strategies.
  • Utilize classroom management skills to maintain a safe, organized, and engaging environment conducive to learning.
  • Communicate regularly with parents or guardians regarding children's progress, behavior, and developmental milestones.
  • Engage children in physical activities and promote overall child welfare through attentive supervision and nurturing interactions.

Qualifications

  • Prior experience working with children in daycare, preschool, or private school settings is highly preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of childhood development principles, classroom management techniques, and behavior management strategies.
  • Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with children, parents, and team members.
  • Background in early childhood education or related field; certifications in child welfare or childcare are a plus.
  • Ability to create a nurturing environment that supports social-emotional growth and physical development.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage classroom activities efficiently while maintaining a positive learning atmosphere.
