Job Summary

**Bilingual (Spanish/English) is required.**

The Front Desk Agent serves as the first point of contact for patients and visitors, providing exceptional customer service and support in a healthcare setting. This role is essential in creating a welcoming environment while efficiently managing administrative tasks. The ideal candidate will be bilingual (Spanish and English), highly motivated, energetic, and possess strong communication and multitasking skills. They should be able to create a warm, welcoming environment for all patients, including those injured in auto accidents, athletes, and wellness patients, making them feel at home.

Duties

  • Greet and assist patients as they arrive, ensuring a positive first impression and a welcoming environment for all patients, including wellness patients, auto accident victims, and athletes.

  • Manage patient check-in and check-out processes, including verifying insurance information and scheduling appointments for both injury rehabilitation and wellness treatments.

  • Answer phone calls promptly, addressing inquiries or directing them to the appropriate staff member, always providing exceptional bilingual communication in both English and Spanish.

  • Maintain accurate patient records, ensuring confidentiality in compliance with HIPAA regulations.

  • Assist patients in understanding their medical treatments, including chiropractic procedures, wellness programs, and office policies.

  • Collaborate with healthcare providers to facilitate smooth patient flow, addressing any immediate concerns related to injury recovery, athletic performance, or wellness care.

  • Perform administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, managing office supplies, and ensuring the clinic runs smoothly.

  • Ensure timely communication between patients and doctors regarding any important updates or information.

Qualifications

  • Knowledge of medical terminology is essential for effective communication within the healthcare environment.

  • Understanding of anatomy and physiology to assist in patient assessments, especially for injuries related to auto accidents, sports, and wellness care.

  • Must be a motivated, high-energy individual who is social, loves engaging with patients, and has lots of initiative.

  • Excellent multitasking skills with the ability to remain calm under pressure while managing multiple tasks efficiently.

  • Strong patient service skills with a focus on empathy and professionalism.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required in both Spanish and English.

  • Previous experience in a front desk or administrative role within a healthcare setting is preferred but not mandatory.

  • Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) systems is a plus.

  • Punctuality and a strong work ethic are a must.

Compensation

  • The salary range is $14 to $16 per hour, based on experience.

Pay: $ $16.00 per hour
