Square 9 Softworks ) is the manufacturer of GlobalSearch, GlobalCapture, GlobalAction and GlobalForms, award winning Enterprise Content Management (ECM) and Business Process Management (BPM) software solutions that help businesses manage their important paper and electronic document processes. Square 9 is looking to hire an Implementation Specialist I to augment the growth of our Professional Services team. The Implementation Specialist I position is an entry level position for technically minded individuals that enjoy software delivery, database platforms and business process improvement. As an Implementation Specialist I, you will be tasked by a Project Manager to deliver on key project milestones for end user customers implementing our Enterprise Content Management software solution. Primary responsibilities include:
- Participation in discovery sessions led by the Project Manager to verify customer needs
- Installation of the software on a Microsoft Windows IIS enabled server environment
- Interfacing the solution database with Microsoft SQL Server 2012+
- Customization of the software per the scope of work using built-in GUI's
- Configuration of document capture processes that interface with desktop scanners, multi-function printers and POP/IMAP email servers including Exchange
- Collaboration with project stakeholders and the provision of regular project updates using ActiveCollab project management solution
- Assistance with documentation on the as built system specifications
- Shadowing of Senior Implementation Specialists to develop competencies throughout the product portfolio and with ancillary technologies
The position is based out of and candidates are expected to work from our New Haven, CT office. Occasional regional, national and international travel is possible. Typically maximum travel required is 25-50%.

- Basic understanding of common horizontal business applications including Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable and Human Resources
Ideal Technical Qualities:
- Bachelors Degree in IT, Information Systems, Computer Science or other related technical field
- Working knowledge of Windows Server infrastructure and Windows networking
- Working knowledge of Windows platform infrastructure (Web Services, ASP.Net, IIS, Message Queuing, Active Directory, Windows Workflow Foundation, Windows Presentation Foundation)
- Knowledge of Windows desktop environments and basic troubleshooting including network connectivity, domain authentication,
- Familiarity with databases, specifically Microsoft SQL Server
- SQL scripting experience is a plus
- Experience with the Microsoft Office Suite and Sharepoint Ecosystem
- Experience with Google Docs platform
- Experience with Enterprise Content Management (ECM) or Enterprise Document Management (EDM) solutions
- Experience with ActiveCollab project management solution
