We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Over the Road Truck Driver to join our team. This position involves long-haul driving across various states, delivering goods safely and efficiently. The ideal candidate will have experience with different types of trailers and possess a strong commitment to safety and compliance with all regulations. Employment is approximately 50% OTR and 50% local.

Responsibilities

  • Operate tractor-trailer units on designated routes to deliver freight to various locations.
  • Load and unload cargo, ensuring proper handling of goods to prevent damage.
  • Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including logs of driving hours and vehicle inspections.
  • Adhere to all traffic laws and safety regulations while driving on highways and local roads.
  • Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in safe operating condition.
  • Ensure compliance with weight limits and secure loads appropriately for transport.

Requirements

  • Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with a clean driving record.
  • 5 years Experience OTR
  • Proficiency in operating forklifts for loading and unloading freight as needed.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while managing time effectively.
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Must be able to pass all required background checks and drug screenings prior to employment.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $ $30.00 per hour
