Responsibilities

  • Prepare and mix ingredients for various dishes according to established recipes and standards.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, ensuring all utensils and equipment are sanitized.
  • Assist cooks and chefs in food preparation tasks, including chopping, slicing, and measuring ingredients.
  • Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service during peak hours.
  • Monitor inventory levels of kitchen supplies and communicate needs to management.
  • Follow all safety and sanitation guidelines to maintain a safe working environment.
  • Participate in the setup and breakdown of banquet events as needed.

Skills

  • Strong food preparation skills with an understanding of culinary techniques.
  • Experience working in a restaurant or hospitality setting is preferred.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Excellent cleaning habits and knowledge of kitchen sanitation practices.
  • Strong teamwork skills with the ability to help others as needed.
  • Familiarity with banquet service operations is a plus.
  • A passion for cooking and creating memorable dining experiences for guests.
