Hourly Rate:

AE-RA-Tuteur / TA-RA-Tutor : $31.89 ou/or $

The academic year starts on September 1 and ends on August 31.

Undergraduate students will be paid at the lower rate; while graduate students will be paid at the higher rate.

These rates do not included vacation pay nor statutory pay.

These rates will be applied until a new collective agreement is ratified. Retro will be paid after the ratification.

Requirements and Nature of Work:

Responsibilities:

  • Assist with the logistical aspects of organizing the 4th International Conference on Environmental Peacebuilding, which will be held at uOttawa in June 2026.
  • This will involve attending weekly meetings (at least 1 per week), liaising with uOttawa departments such as Conventions and Reservations, drafting publicity materials, and other tasks.

Qualifications:

  • Note-taking, ability to draft polite and clear email communications, previous experience in events organization.

Other comments or notes:

  • While most tasks will be done remotely, being available for on-campus meetings will be an advantage.
