Personic Health is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Medical Assistant to support our Nurse Practitioners and clinical teams in delivering high-quality in-home wound care services. The Medical Assistant plays a vital role in ensuring seamless patient visits, accurate clinical documentation, and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist providers during in-home patient visits, including preparing supplies, and documenting care

  • Facilitate telehealth visits in the home as needed

  • Support the clinical team with wound photography, staging, dressing setup, and record keeping.

  • Maintain accurate, timely electronic health records (EHR) documentation.

  • Ensure all necessary supplies and equipment are stocked, organized, and available for patient visits.

  • Serve as a professional and compassionate point of contact for patients, families, and facility partners.

  • Coordinate with scheduling, operations, and clinical leadership to support efficient daily workflows.

  • Follow all Personic Health policies, HIPAA regulations, and infection control standards.

  • Assist with follow-ups, care coordination, and general administrative tasks as needed.

Qualifications

  • Certified Medical Assistant (CMA), Registered Medical Assistant (RMA), or equivalent preferred.

  • Previous experience in wound care, home health, or skilled nursing settings is highly valued.

  • Strong understanding of medical terminology and basic clinical procedures.

  • Excellent communication, time management, and organizational skills.

  • Ability to work independently in the field and adapt to dynamic patient-care environments.

  • Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and willingness to travel within region.
