Description
Perform QA/QC on safety analytical tools. Assist with reviewing, updating and developing safety resource materials.

How you will contribute:

QA/QC Auditing: Assist in the auditing (QA/QC) and utilization of safety analytical tools and loss information/history to identify trends that will provide a roadmap for the development of safety strategies and training to reduce employees' exposure to hazards. Provide feedback on audits to VDOT districts.Resource Materials: Assists with reviewing, auditing, updating, developing, maintaining and submitting various safety guidance documents, educational materials, safety-related publications, bulletins and reports.What will make you successful:

Ability to analyze data and prepare technical reports.Ability to maintain and work with confidential information.Ability to multi-task and work within tight deadlines.Ability to research, organize and write reports, conduct analysis, and prepare and conduct briefings.Knowledge of Occupational Safety and Health and associated state and federal regulations.Skill in the use of Microsoft products including but not limited to SharePoint Online and MS Power Platform (Power Bi, Power Apps, and Power Automate).Minimum Qualifications:

Ability to analyze data and prepare technical reports.Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing with diverse audiences, make presentations and conduct meetings.Ability to interpret and apply codes, laws, standards, policies, procedures and guidelines.Ability to maintain and work with confidential informationAbility to work effectively with all levels of employees, management and the public.Knowledge of applicable federal, state and local regulations regarding workplace safety.Knowledge of occupational safety and health standards, industrial hygiene fundamentals, and safety equipment.Skilled in the use of computers and software applications.Additional Considerations:
