Job Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and skilled Packaging Specialist to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring that products are packaged efficiently and in compliance with industry standards. This position requires a solid understanding of packaging processes, mechanical knowledge, and adherence to FDA regulations and CGMP practices. The Packaging Specialist will work closely with the manufacturing team to ensure quality and efficiency in the packaging line.

Responsibilities

  • Operate and maintain packaging machinery, ensuring optimal performance and minimal downtime.
  • Adhere to FDA regulations and CGMP guidelines throughout the packaging process.
  • Utilize programmable logic controllers for monitoring and controlling packaging equipment.
  • Assemble product packaging using hand tools and machinery as required.
  • Conduct quality checks on packaged products to ensure compliance with specifications.
  • Collaborate with team members to optimize packaging workflows and improve efficiency.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area, following all safety protocols.
  • Assist in training new employees on packaging processes and equipment operation.
  • Manage inventory of packaging materials, ensuring adequate supplies are available for production needs.

Experience

  • Previous experience in a manufacturing or warehouse environment is preferred.
  • Familiarity with packaging processes, including assembly line operations.
  • Mechanical knowledge is essential for troubleshooting equipment issues.
  • Experience operating forklifts is a plus, along with relevant certifications.
  • Knowledge of FDA regulations and CGMP practices related to packaging is highly desirable.
