Position Type: Part-time and Full-time

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in education or a related field (teaching, speech and language therapy, occupational therapy, social work, psychology).
  • Florida Professional or Temporary Teacher Certification.
  • Commitment to a one-year employment term.

We provide comprehensive IMSE Orton-Gillingham Training, equipping you to assess, evaluate, and teach essential reading, writing, and spelling skills. Upon completion, you'll earn the IMSE Comprehensive Completion Certificate and become an integral part of our team as a Learning Specialist.

Responsibilities:

⁠ ⁠Assess and monitor students' literacy skills using IMSE OG & ACADIENCE assessments.

⁠ ⁠Create detailed lesson plans with effective teaching strategies and materials.

⁠ ⁠Provide daily instruction to individual students or small groups.

⁠ ⁠Prepare and share monthly progress reports with parents and the office.

⁠ ⁠Assist with additional tasks as assigned by your supervisor.
