Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Clinical Supervisor to join our team on a contract basis for our IOP in West LA and our residential treatment center in Malibu. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in mental health care, with expertise in cognitive behavioral therapy. This role involves overseeing clinical staff, ensuring the delivery of high-quality care, and fostering a therapeutic environment for clients. The Clinical Supervisor will provide supervision for our associate therapists at our residential treatment center and IOP.
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family or a related field.
- Valid licensure as an LMFT, LCSW, LPCC with the CEU that allows for clinical supervision.
- Proven experience in clinical supervision or leadership roles within mental health settings.
- Strong understanding of cognitive behavioral therapy techniques and their application in treatment.
- Must have been licensed for a minimum of 2 year's.
- Background in adolescent mental health is extremely desirable.
- Must have IOP and residential treatment experience.
Key Responsibilities:
· Provide direct clinical services, including individual, family, and group therapy, tailored to the needs of clients in residential treatment and outpatient programs.
· Oversee and guide the clinical team, offering mentorship to maintain a cohesive and effective therapeutic approach.
· Collaborate closely with the COO and other leadership to develop, implement, and refine clinical programming that addresses the needs of teens struggling with mental health and dual diagnosis.
· Facilitate communication with families, ensuring they are well-informed, supported, and involved in the treatment process.
· Conduct clinical assessments and collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to create individualized treatment plans.
· Lead family support sessions and provide psychoeducation to help families understand and support the treatment process.
· Participate in weekly treatment team meetings to discuss client progress and update treatment plans as necessary.
· Maintain documentation and ensure compliance with all regulatory standards related to clinical care.
· Promote a positive and stable therapeutic milieu, addressing client needs and providing crisis intervention when required.
· Focuses on direct client care and clinical support.
· Leads and runs clinical groups for clients.
· Manages and facilitates family communication and coaching.
· Provides support to therapists in clinical needs and guidance.
· Engages in milieu support to ensure a healthy environment for clients.
