Seamstress

Overview

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Seamstress to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in garment construction and sewing, with the ability to produce high-quality clothing and accessories. This position offers an opportunity to work in a creative and collaborative environment, contributing to the production of custom and ready-to-wear apparel. Experience in manufacturing or warehouse settings is a plus, as it demonstrates familiarity with fast-paced production workflows. The Seamstress will play a vital role in ensuring that all garments meet our quality standards and are completed efficiently.

Duties

• Construct garments according to design specifications using sewing machines and hand sewing techniques
• Cut fabric pieces accurately based on pattern templates
• Assemble, sew, and finish clothing items with precision and attention to detail
• Inspect finished products for quality, consistency, and adherence to specifications
• Maintain sewing equipment, perform basic repairs, and ensure cleanliness of work area
• Collaborate with design and production teams to meet deadlines and production goals
• Follow safety guidelines and best practices in a manufacturing or warehouse environment

Experience

• Proven experience in garment construction and sewing, with proficiency in operating sewing machines
• Strong knowledge of sewing techniques, pattern reading, and fabric handling
• Prior experience in manufacturing or warehouse settings is advantageous, demonstrating ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Familiarity with warehouse safety procedures is preferred
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team, maintaining high standards of craftsmanship and productivity

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $ $35.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 – 40 per week
