The Role

INNERGY is seeking a Senior Software Developer to join our growing engineering team. In this role, you'll take a leading part in designing, building, and maintaining core software solutions that power manufacturing operations across the woodworking industry.

You'll work across both desktop and web-based applications, leveraging C#, VB.NET, and the .NET Framework on the backend, and TypeScript and React for front-end development. You'll collaborate closely with engineers, product managers, and cross-functional partners, bringing strong technical judgment, ownership, and mentorship to the team.

This role is ideal for a senior individual contributor who enjoys solving complex problems, influencing technical direction, and building software that delivers real-world value.

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, test, and maintain scalable, high-quality software applications
  • Build and enhance front-end experiences using React and TypeScript
  • Contribute to backend development using C#, VB.NET, and .NET Framework
  • Partner closely with product and engineering teams to translate requirements into technical solutions
  • Lead by example through clean, maintainable code and thoughtful code reviews
  • Develop automated tests and support performance tuning and optimization
  • Participate actively in Agile ceremonies, technical planning, and architecture discussions
  • Mentor junior developers and contribute to team-wide engineering best practices

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
  • 5+ years of professional software development experience
  • Strong experience with C#, .NET Framework, and modern software design practices
  • Hands-on experience building front-end applications using React and TypeScript
  • Experience working with relational databases such as MS SQL Server and/or MySQL
  • Solid understanding of the full software development lifecycle
  • Experience working in an Agile development environment
  • Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with AutoCAD and its APIs
  • Familiarity with SVN, MS Office, and Agile tooling
  • Experience in manufacturing, ERP, or the woodworking industry
