Responsibilities

  • Serve as the designated Responsible Managing Employee (RME) for California-based general contracting operations, ensuring all projects meet licensing and regulatory standards.
  • Oversee project planning, execution, and completion while maintaining compliance with local building codes and safety regulations.
  • Coordinate with project teams, subcontractors, clients, and vendors to ensure smooth communication and project flow.
  • Review and approve project budgets, schedules, and change orders to optimize efficiency and profitability.
  • Implement quality control procedures to guarantee work meets industry standards and client expectations.
  • Maintain thorough documentation of project activities, permits, inspections, and licensing requirements.
  • Stay informed on advancements in construction technology, including quantum engineering applications that may enhance project outcomes.

Qualifications

  • Valid California B license with active Responsible Managing Employee (RME) designation or eligibility to obtain one.
  • Proven experience managing commercial or residential construction projects in California.
  • Strong knowledge of California building codes, safety regulations, and licensing requirements.
  • Excellent leadership skills with the ability to manage diverse teams effectively.
  • Exceptional organizational skills with attention to detail in documentation and compliance records.
  • Familiarity with quantum engineering concepts is a plus but not mandatory; candidates should demonstrate a willingness to learn emerging technologies relevant to construction innovation.
  • Effective communication skills for liaising with clients, regulators, team members, and stakeholders.
