Your Role as an On-Call Home Care Aide

As an On-Call Caregiver / Home Care Aide, you'll fill in when regular caregivers are unavailable and provide non-medical, in-home care for seniors and adults with disabilities. You'll help each client remain safe, comfortable, and independent at home.

Typical Duties Include:

  • Personal care & hygiene assistance
  • Light housekeeping & meal preparation
  • Medication reminders & mobility assistance
  • Companionship & emotional support
  • Transportation for errands or appointments

Flexible On-Call Schedule

This position is ideal for caregivers who want flexibility, variety, or extra hours.

  • On-Call / Fill-In Shifts: Day, evening, overnight, weekday & weekend options
  • Shift Lengths: 4–12 hours
  • Work Type: Part-time or full-time hours as available

We serve clients throughout Santa Clara County – including Sunnyvale, Santa Clara, Cupertino, Mountain View, San Jose, and nearby areas.

Requirements

  • Minimum 1 year of caregiving experience (Home Care, CNA, or similar)
  • Active Home Care Aide (HCA) registration with the State of California (or willingness to apply)
  • Valid driver's license & reliable transportation
  • TB test and background check required
