Position Summary

A fast-growing company in the Commercial Vehicle sector is looking for an Electrical Engineer with a passion for product design and development and a proven track record of design, development, and launch of innovative and robust electrical components and systems. Candidate is skilled at creating and translating product requirements into solutions, including application of expert knowledge of electrical component and system best practices and a history of delivering functionality, reliability, and technical innovation.

 About the Role: You will help distinguish our company with expertise, integrity, and professionalism to create products that exceed customer expectations.

Position Responsibilities

  • Design, development, and launch of electrical components and systems
  • Continuous improvement including cost reduction and reliability improvement actions
  • Innovation and technology roadmap development
  • Working integrally with the broader engineering team
  • Hands on collaboration with Manufacturing and Procurement Team Members
  • Hands on collaboration with key suppliers.

 Position Qualifications

  • BS EE, MS EE Preferred
  • Excellent verbal and written communication
  • Strong project management skills, with excellent follow-up skills
  • Problem solver – adept at troubleshooting and resolving issues
  • Detailed-orientated
  • Strategic thinker
  • Proficient in AutoCad or Autodesk Inventor
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office applications: Word, Excel, and Outlook.

 Ideal Candidates Will Also Have

  • Experience working in Manufacturing and/or Distribution industries preferred.  Knowledge and/or experience in the vehicle industry a plus.
