Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and vigilant Armed Security Officer with a neat, clean, and well groomed command presence to join our team. Former law enforcement and Retired Military encouraged to apply.
The ideal candidate will cover morning shift with overtime at one of our 4 locations Miramar, Imperial Beach, Southland, Mission Valley, and National City on any given day.
- Standing and greeting union members
- Respond promptly to incidents, or emergencies, taking appropriate action as necessary.
- Enforce rules and regulations while maintaining a visible presence to deter potential threats.
- Collaborate with law enforcement agencies when needed, providing detailed reports on incidents.
- Manage conflicts effectively, utilizing conflict management skills to de-escalate situations.
Skills
- Strong knowledge of security protocols and procedures.
- Experience in law enforcement or military service is highly desirable.
- Excellent conflict management skills with the ability to remain calm under pressure.
- Strong observational skills with attention to detail for identifying potential security threats.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $ $31.22 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 8 per week
