Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role located in Tallahassee, FL, for an Electrical Design Engineer. The Electrical Design Engineer will be responsible for designing, testing, and evaluating electrical systems and components to meet project requirements. Day-to-day tasks include creating and reviewing technical drawings, performing system analysis, collaborating with cross-disciplinary teams, troubleshooting design challenges, and ensuring compliance with industry standards and safety protocols. The role emphasizes innovation, technical accuracy, and the ability to deliver high-quality solutions in a timely manner.

Qualifications

  • Proficiency in designing and analyzing electrical systems, circuit design, and PCB layout
  • Experience using CAD tools such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or similar design software
  • Understanding of compliance standards, safety regulations, and industry best practices
  • Problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify, troubleshoot, and resolve technical issues
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills for working effectively in cross-functional teams
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a related field
  • Experience in aerospace or defense industries is a plus
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
