Now Hiring: Class C Automotive Technician (Entry-Level)

Mount Dora, FL | Lake County Auto Service Inc.

Lake County Auto Service is seeking a Class C Technician with previous work experience. We are a highly-rated and busy 4.9/5-star hometown shop in search of a technician to perform basic repairs on systems such as brakes, suspension, cooling, and starting and charging, along with other basic parts replacement. In addition to repairing you will also be required to perform diagnostics and vehicle inspections at a level that meets expectations for a Class C Technician.

What We're Looking For:

  • Previous experience working in a shop performing basic repairs.
  • Basic repair skills on brakes, suspension, cooling systems, and other common components.
  • Basic diagnostic skills on brakes, suspension, cooling systems, and other common components.
  • The ability to thoroughly inspect vehicles and not overlook issues.
  • Strong problem-solving ability, forward thinking, and technical understanding.
  • Positive attitude and motivated.
  • Communication skills.

What You'll Do:

  • Perform basic repairs and maintenance, including oil changes.
  • Perform basic diagnostics.
  • Perform digital vehicle inspections.
  • Complete a weekly checklist.
  • Assist senior technicians and learn advanced repair and diagnostic skills.
  • Participate in ongoing training and mentorship to develop your skills.

  • 2+ Year experience

Compensation

Pay is structured as a hybrid system. You will receive a base hourly rate determined by your experience and demonstrated skill level, along with a weekly performance-based bonus tied directly to productivity.
