We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Design Assistant to support our design and sales team for residential remodeling projects. This role will assist with selections, drawings, and project coordination to help turn our clients' ideas into beautiful, functional spaces.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist with developing design concepts for kitchens, bathrooms, basements, and additions.
  • Create and update mood boards and finish schedules.
  • Coordinate client selections for cabinetry, countertops, tile, plumbing fixtures, lighting, and hardware.
  • Organize design files, samples, and material libraries.
  • Prepare presentation materials and assist with client meetings.
  • Support estimating and proposal documentation as needed.
  • Support office staff with answering the phones when needed.

Qualifications:

  • Experience or education in interior design, architecture, or related field.
  • Strong attention to detail, organization, and follow-through.
  • Proficiency in design software preferred (Google Suite, Drafting Software) – training available.
  • Excellent communication skills and a positive, team-focused attitude.

Qualifications

  • 2+ years of design experience (construction/remodeling industry preferred but not required).
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency with Google Workspace, including Gmail, Docs, Sheets, and Calendar, and basic project management software.
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize multiple tasks and projects, and work independently in a fast paced environment.
  • Professional and friendly demeanor with strong customer service skills.
  • Quick learner who isn't afraid to ask questions to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
