Responsibilities:

  • Provide expert legal advice and guidance on a broad range of corporate, commercial, and regulatory matters, including fintech and crypto
  • Draft, review, and negotiate complex contracts, including partnership, licensing, employment, and vendor agreements
  • Advise on compliance with US and international laws relevant to the gaming, finance, and technology sectors
  • Support mergers, acquisitions, and other strategic transactions
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and mitigate legal risks
  • Develop and implement policies, procedures, and training to ensure ongoing compliance
  • Represent Xsolla in legal proceedings, regulatory inquiries, and negotiations as needed
  • Monitor changes in relevant legislation and assess impact on business operations
  • Mentor and provide guidance to junior legal team members

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school; active membership in good standing with California state bar
  • Minimum 7 years of relevant legal experience, preferably in-house at a technology or gaming company, or at a top law firm
  • Deep knowledge of corporate, commercial, and regulatory law
  • Experience negotiating and drafting complex commercial agreements
  • Strong business acumen and ability to balance legal risk with business objectives
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently
  • High ethical standards and sound judgment
  • Experience with international legal matters and data privacy is a plus
  • Preferred Strong understanding of Google Suite and Atlassian tools

$147,800 - $232,700 a year
