We're partnered with an early-stage health-tech startup building AI clinical agents for end-to-end care delivery—from patient intake to post-visit documentation. The goal: deploy real-time, voice-first systems that take on the most costly operational tasks in healthcare while meeting the bar for reliability, privacy, and HIPAA compliance.

They're hiring a Full Stack Engineer who can thrive in ambiguity, ship quickly, and own full-stack execution across product, infrastructure, and integrations.

Responsibilities

  • Drive development of AI clinical agents for end-to-end care delivery
  • Take ownership of full-stack development across frontend, backend, and infrastructure
  • Work closely with the founding team to build, test, and iterate on core product features
  • Develop and deploy real-time systems (telephony, voice processing, conversational UX)
  • Lead initiatives to integrate with EHR systems and ensure HIPAA compliance
  • Build and optimize workflows that automate high-cost tasks (intake, triage support, follow-ups, documentation)

Requirements

  • 2+ years professional full-stack engineering experience (strong candidates in the 1–3 year range encouraged)
  • Experience building with AI/LLM systems (bonus if you've worked on voice agents, agentic systems, or conversational AI)
  • Comfortable wearing multiple hats across product + systems + integrations
  • Strong track record of taking initiative and shipping quickly in a fast-moving environment
  • Able to operate with ambiguity, make sound trade-offs, and iterate fast without breaking fundamentals

Nice to Have

  • Experience with real-time / streaming systems (telephony, voice processing, low-latency UX)
  • Prior work in healthcare SaaS / health-tech, especially with compliance/security constraints
  • Familiarity with EHR integrations (and the messy reality of healthcare interoperability)
  • Early engineer / founding engineer background at an early-stage startup
