Duties

  • Efficiently wash, sanitize, and organize dishes, utensils, cookware, and kitchen equipment to uphold hygiene standards.
  • Assist with food preparation tasks such as chopping, assembling ingredients, and portioning to support chefs and kitchen staff.
  • Maintain cleanliness of all kitchen surfaces, floors, and storage areas through regular cleaning routines.
  • Support catering and banquet events by preparing ingredients and ensuring serving stations are stocked and tidy.
  • Buss tables promptly during service hours to ensure a clean dining environment for guests.
  • Follow proper food handling procedures to ensure safety and compliance with health regulations.
  • Help with basic cooking tasks under supervision to expand culinary skills.
  • Support the team in managing supplies, restocking items as needed for efficient kitchen operation.
  • Adhere to all safety protocols related to food service, cleaning procedures, and equipment use.

Skills

  • Strong understanding of food handling safety standards and sanitation practices.
  • Experience in bussing tables and supporting food service operations in a restaurant or hospitality setting.
  • Familiarity with food preparation techniques and basic cooking skills.
  • Previous banquet or catering experience is highly desirable.
  • Ability to perform cleaning duties diligently while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Excellent teamwork skills with a positive attitude towards supporting colleagues in a fast-paced environment.
  • Knowledge of proper food storage, inventory management, and kitchen organization.
  • Good physical stamina for standing long periods, lifting supplies, and performing cleaning tasks.
