Tabet Manufacturing Co. has an immediate opening for a full-time Production Supervisor for our 2nd shift (2:00PM to 10:30PM). This supervisory position is responsible for the safety, quality, and productivity of the plant and employees at Tabet. In this role, you will oversee daily operations to meet production timeline and quality goals, leading a workforce capable of achieving production goals through performing established processes. The ideal candidate must have 3+ years of relevant supervisory experience working in a manufacturing environment. This position will require a highly energetic, fully engaged, forward-thinking individual to work with various disciplines within the facility. - High school diploma or GED required, bachelor's degree in management, engineering, or related technical field preferred.
- CNC Machining, Laser Cutting or Sheetmetal experience is required. Any continuous process operational experience is also a plus.
- 3 years' supervisory experience in a manufacturing setting highly preferred
- Knowledge of lean manufacturing practices a plus
- Some proficiency with MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams) required.
- Ability to solve problems and prioritize daily tasks in a fast-paced environment and stay calm.
- Ability to multi-task and prioritize tasks with strict deadlines.
- Ability to effectively communicate and implement management/business direction with shift crew members.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Leadership to cultivate a culture of safety and accountability.
- Be a self-starter, take responsibility and get it done professionally though your team.
Responsibilities…
- Overseeing the shift operations to meet production goals, while ensuring employees follow all plant and job safety requirements and standard operating procedures.
- Motivating others to perform well, excelling at their assigned responsibilities and exceeding team goals.
- Supervising multiple disciplines on your shift.
- Coordinating with other Team Leaders to keep operation running smoothly and safely.
- Ensuring department team members are trained and assisting peers throughout the plant in implementing improvement activities with specific focus on safety, quality, and productivity
- Monitoring plant operations and directing the crew to meet quality, operating, process, and production targets/objectives. Engaging in problem solving to return the process/operation to target when deviations occur.
- Fulfilling all record keeping requirements related to the day-to-day operations in a timely manner, including safety training documentation, disciplinary actions, employee development, and specific job-related training.
- Promptly investigating safety, fire, and environmental incidents, including completing and submitting any investigation reports prior to the end of the shift
- Acting as the shift incident commander for oil spills, fires, emergency response, evacuation alarms, and water and power outages

- Self-motivated, results orientated and excellent personal skills
Physical Requirements
- Ability to manually move, lift, carry, pull or push objects weighing up to 50lbs.
- Close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
- Ability to visually identify and distinguish colors.
- Repetitive use of arms, hands and fingers.
- Prolonged stooping, kneeling, walking, standing and sitting.
