Position Overview:

The Custodian is responsible for keeping parts department areas clean, organized, and presentable, including customer areas, offices, restrooms, and outdoor spaces. This role is essential to ensuring a positive experience for customers and maintaining a safe workplace for employees.

Responsibilities:

  • Clean and sanitize restrooms, breakrooms, and common areas
  • Sweep, mop, vacuum, and maintain floors throughout the dealership
  • Empty trash and recycling bins regularly
  • Clean windows, doors, and glass surfaces
  • Maintain cleanliness in the service department, including sweeping and organizing
  • Restock supplies such as soap, paper towels, and restroom products
  • Perform light maintenance tasks as needed
  • Report repairs, safety hazards, or facility issues to management
  • Ensure cleanliness of the dealership's exterior entrances and walkways

Requirements:

  • Previous custodial or janitorial experience preferred but not required
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently and efficiently
  • Reliable, punctual, and committed to maintaining a clean environment
  • Ability to lift up to 30 lbs and perform physical tasks
  • Positive attitude and willingness to help wherever needed
  • Applicants must have a valid driver's license and must complete the pre-employment screening.
