We are looking for a reliable and motivated Helper to assist our Low Voltage Technicians with the installation of security systems and related equipment. This is an entry-level position with on-the-job training and opportunities to advance into a technician role.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist lead technician with installation of:
  • Security cameras (CCTV/IP)
  • Alarm systems and sensors
  • Access control and card readers
  • Network and low-voltage cabling
  • Pull and route cables through ceilings, walls, and conduits
  • Use hand and power tools safely
  • Keep work areas clean and organized
  • Load/unload tools and materials for each job
  • Follow safety procedures and company policies
  • Learn system setup, testing, and troubleshooting
  • Learn to read blueprints and wiring diagrams (training provided)

Qualifications:

  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
  • Ability to pass a background check and drug test
  • Comfortable using ladders and power tools
  • Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work on your feet
  • Basic knowledge of hand tools and construction environments
  • Willingness to learn and take direction
  • Punctual, professional, and detail-oriented
  • (Preferred) Experience in construction, electrical, or low-voltage work

Schedule:

  • Full-time, Monday–Friday (occasional weekends or after-hours work)
  • 8-hour shifts, start times vary by job site

Pay:

  • $13-17/hour depending on experience

(with performance-based raises and growth opportunities)

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Pay: $ $17.00 per hour

Work Location: On the road
