Prep / Line Cook - Critics Choice Catering and Event Production

Location: Gardena, CA

Job Type: full-time with opportunity for additional catering shifts

Pay: $19-$22 per hour, based on experience

What You'll Do

• Prep produce, proteins, and sauces to par levels
• Cook menu items to spec and on time
• Keep a clean, organized workspace and follow food safety standards
• Label, date, rotate, and store product correctly
• Help with daily inventory, receiving, and closing duties

What We're Looking For

• 1+ year in a professional kitchen preferred, but we'll train the right person
• Strong knife skills and comfort on grill, sauté, or fry
• California Food Handler Card (or willing to obtain within 30 days)
• Reliable, punctual, and calm under pressure
• Able to lift 40 lbs and stand for long periods
• Team player with a positive attitude

Schedule

• Tuesday-Saturday 7:30am-2:30pm
• Saturdays are required*
