Our mission is to build long term relationships, founded on trust, generating mutual growth and success.  Butler operates two late model Pilatus PC-12 aircraft as a two-pilot flight crew to carry employees and customers across our territory and around the country for business.

Our proactive scheduling results in very few short notice flights annually, respecting weekends and holidays as a norm, providing a high quality of life for our pilots.  

Butler Machinery expects flight crew members who have safety as a priority, but are also decisive, innovative, and mission focused as part of a team.  Pilots are not just transport operators, they are ambassadors to our customers, interacting on journeys, solving problems before and when they happen.

Please note this is a full-time position based out of Fargo, ND.

Responsibilities:

  • Flies aircraft in a safe and stable manner.
  • Studies and makes decisions considering weather conditions.
  • Reviews and calculates the aircraft weight and balance, fuel on board and performance charts.
  • Performs preflight aircraft inspections.
  • Coordinates flight arrangements with passengers.
  • Maintains aircraft log books.
  • Identifies maintenance needs on aircraft.
  • Orders fuel.
  • Coordinates flight plans.
  • Makes sure aircraft is clean and well stocked.
  • Purchases supplies/refreshments.
  • Updates databases.
  • Works within and promotes vision, mission, and values of BMC.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications: 

  • Must have obtained Airplane Commercial Pilot Rating – ATP Preferred.  
  • Single Engine Land required and Multi-Engine Land rating preferred but not required.  
  • Applicant must have 1000 hours of total flying time with 100 hours of turbine.  
  • This person will fly Pilatus PC-12NG, NGX, and PRO with training provided.
