Duties/Responsibilities
Assist housing team in providing follow up services for one year to former clients placed into housing to ensure successful transition. Act as liaison between the program and NY/NY Housing providers. Facilitate psycho-educational groups for current and former clients. Assist in placing clients in housing. Provide comprehensive case management and services to a caseload of current clients. Provide case management services to caseload of aftercare clients Provide emergency first aid/CPR assistance when needed. Perform additional related duties as assigned.
Hours
Full-time 37.5 hours per week
Monday-Friday 9am-5:30pm (one late day 12:30pm-9pm)
Qualifications
BA/BS degree preferred, High School diploma/GED required. Minimum two years experience working with homeless, mentally ill, or MICA population preferred. Knowledge of the NY/NY housing system. Basic computer literacy required. CPR training certification or willingness to take training class in CPR.
- Vaccination preferred but not required.
