Position Summary

The Program Manager, Global Operations (PMGO) is to support our global expansion efforts for AWS Certification and Training products. This role will play a key part in managing international business activities, facilitating cross-organizational partnerships, and ensuring operational efficiency across regions. The PMGO will also provide vital support in certification and accreditation processes to maintain compliance with regional education and training standards. As the international team grows, this role will be instrumental in streamlining workflows, managing communications, and driving market entry initiatives.

Essential Duties

  • Manage and Support international market development activities for AWS Certification, Accreditation, and Training products.
  • Liaise with internal business units and shared services departments to execute strategies and launch plans.
  • Coordinate efforts related to global certification and accreditation processes, including documentation, tracking, and regional compliance requirements.
  • Support international fulfillment activities.
  • Monitor project timelines, deliverables, and manage communications across international stakeholders.
  • Assist with research and analysis of new market opportunities.
  • Assist with international marketing and promotional activities.
  • Prepare regular reports on progress and performance metrics.
  • Support standardize operational processes and documentation for international program implementation.
  • Serve as a point of contact for international teams, resolving issues and escalating concerns as necessary.
  • Collaborate with Program Manager, and Regional Director, International Certification & Accreditation with interactions and needs of AWS' International Agents.
  • Support VP, Welding and Technology with Administrative Task and Travel Logistics
  • Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Qualifications Requirements

  • Associate degree or equivalent experience.
  • 5 + years of experience in professional office environments, specializing in administration and organizational support.
  • Experience in global operations, project management, or international business is a plus.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work across multiple time zones and cultures.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; e.
  • Familiarity with certification, accreditation, or training programs preferred.

Working Conditions and Required Physical Abilities

When working on site, this position is in a quiet to moderately noisy indoor office environment. Some travel is required.

Individuals in this type of position must have the use of sensory skills to effectively communicate with other employees and the public through use of the telephone and personal contact as normally defined by the ability to see, read, talk, sit, stand, hear, use of fingers to handle, feel or operate objects and write. Must have the physical capabilities to move about the office and to effectively use and operate various items of office-related equipment, such as but not limited to personal computers, calculators, copy and fax machines. Must be able to remain seated at a keyboard or desk for extended periods. Must be able to lift, carry, and/or push/pull articles weighing up to 20 lbs.
