If yes, bring your talent and skills to F.E. Moran We have an exciting opportunity in Hammond, IN for a Fire Protection Design Intern to join our team.

You Are:

  • KNOWLEDGEABLE: Pursuing a degree in construction management, mechanical engineering, or relevant field; basic knowledge of design software, including AutoCAD
  • SKILLED: Fundamental to advanced drafting skills and ability to read and understand construction blueprints
  • ALWAYS LEARNING: Possess a willingness and desire to learn and be teachable
  • A COMMUNICATOR: Effectively communicate both verbally and written to varied levels of audiences
  • ANALYTICAL: Critical thinker with strong attention to detail; Ability to problem-solve

What You'll Do:

  • ASSIST: Support Designers with system layout, field surveys, and submittal documents
  • PRIORITIZE: Utilize strong time management and multi-tasking to ensure deadlines are met
  • APPLY: Continue to learn and apply knowledge of design software and NFPA codes while working on real-time projects
