As a member of Micron's Financial Planning and Analysis team, you will participate in building out and maintaining a world class finance reporting and analytics environment to provide data-based insight into key financial reporting. You will use and coordinate multiple sources of data to generate forecasts of Micron's financial performance for Senior Management and the Board of Directors.
You will have the opportunity to work creatively on a variety of projects across a global organization with a diverse set of people. Key elements include the ability to meet precise deadlines while maintaining high quality of work, attention to detail and good design aesthetics. You will analyze data and inputs received for reasonableness and explain trends, discrepancies and variances between forecasted and actual results.
Responsibilities Include, But Not Limited To
- Generate forecasts for Micron's financial performance
- Visualize key concepts from complex and multiple data sources using Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Power BI, and other software platforms
- Convey data clearly and accurately by using charts, graphs, and tables
- Navigate information system applications (e.g., TM1, SAP, Adaptive Insights) to collect actual and forecast data
- Analyze financial data to build reports summarizing key trends/variances in financial data
- Design, develop, and maintain financial planning and forecast models
- Manage ad hoc financial modeling projects based on issues or needs identified by the FPA leadership team
- Create and maintain consistency in reporting across the organization
- Collaborate cross functionally to develop new data initiatives and automation of key processes
- Communicates to share knowledge and findings, presenting results in a manner that the finance team and business partners can understand
Minimum Qualifications
- Enrolled in Bachelor's degree program in Business, Finance, Economics or related field
- Interest in Semiconductor industry
- Excellent oral and written communications skills
- The ability to be highly organized and detail-oriented, with a strong focus on accuracy
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills
- Proficient in Excel
- Availability to serve in the role during the summer months of 2026
