- Develop code compliant electrical systems that meet the customer specifications
- Optimize the system functionality from as-sold to a working electrical design within the budget in consultation with other disciplines (Mechanical, Controls, Supply Chain, Installation, etc.)

- Engineering of project specials needed for non-standard design applications
- Apply safety regulations
- Specify the electrical equipment required for the complete electrical system that operates and controls both the Vanderlande manufactured, and third party purchased items
- Use software tools (AutoCAD Electrical, Word, Excel, etc.) to develop the electrical designs such as wiring diagrams, termination lists, Bill of Materials, etc.
- Document all engineering decisions through design plans, complete and clear installation files, and engineering instructions directed to a site supervisor and installation subcontractor
- Travel to site as needed to conduct site surveys
- Support the installation and commissioning both on site, and from the Marietta, GA office
- Project document control using a rights-based database system
Requirements:
- This is an entry level position.
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or Electrical Engineering Technology with 0 – 2 years of related work experience
- Or Associate EE/ET with 3 - 5 years related experience
- Must be willing and able to travel domestically up to 30% with occasional international opportunities

- Ability to work in an entrepreneurial organization where cooperating with others and being a team member is natural
- Good communicator, able to effectively understand and set expectations for deliverables
- Able to handle time sensitive situations and quickly set the right priorities, while maintaining a firm grasp of the details
