Job Title: OnSite/Traveling Project Manager (Structural Steel)

Compensation: $95K - $105K + Benefits + Bonuses

Nino Development has partnered with a highly successful AISC Structural Steel Fabricator on the West Coast who is on their search for an On-site/Traveling Project Manager with experience in Commercial Structural Steel Projects with the ability to travel/be on site at projects for weeks/months at a time.

Job Title: On-Site/Traveling Structural Steel Project Manager (3+ years)

Project Types: Commercial, Healthcare, Education, Stadiums, High-rises, Hospitality

Key Responsibilities:

  • Able to perform all essential Project Manager job responsibilities
  • Experience and comfort performing Assistant Project Manager's and Project Engineer's responsibilities
  • Maintain the project schedule and budget
  • Develop and maintain a good relationship with Owner, Architect, and Contractors
  • Provide the client with value-engineered solutions when applicable
  • Work with estimating, helping establish budgets and contract price
  • Negotiate cost-effective contracts and material purchases
  • Set up and implement job procedures and techniques to assure timely buyout, shop drawing approval, and material delivery
  • Work with Superintendent to develop safety plans and to implement safety procedures
  • Manage project deliverables
  • Oversee and mentor the project staff to foster a positive team setting

Skills & Qualification:

  • *Ability to travel throughout the West Coast, specifically in AZ, CA, OR, NV and WA*
  • Must be able to stay on-site during the duration of the project schedule
  • 3+ years managing AISC structural steel projects
  • Commercial, Industrial and Manufacturing Building experience
  • TEKLA EPM software experience preferred
