As a Security Officer - Mall Patrol Driver in Pueblo, CO, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As a Patrol Officer in a retail environment, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help to deter security-related incidents and provide a welcoming presence for guests and staff. This primarily driving post involves conducting routine patrols, remaining visible throughout the location, and providing outstanding customer service. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, including responding to emergency situations when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining a professional presence at all times.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the retail location and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and observe for any unusual circumstances.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and other key areas to help to deter unauthorized access and report any suspicious activities.
• Document incidents and complete detailed reports in accordance with Allied Universal policies and site-specific guidelines.
• Communicate clearly with team members, staff, and/or law enforcement as needed, while maintaining confidentiality of sensitive information.
• Assist with crowd control and customer inquiries as needed during busy periods or special events within the retail environment.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A valid state, county, or city issued security license is preferred.
• A guard card or equivalent license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
