ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Develop and implement production processes necessary for the manufacture of new products
  • Utilize CREO 3D modeling software to generate concepts, final models, and production ready prints for manufacturing. Utilize AutoCad for 2D layout of equipment and workspace for maximum efficiency
  • Assist in the design, specification, installation, startup of ergonomic, automation, and robotic projects.
  • Evaluate existing machinery controls and implement process improvements enhancing safety, quality, efficiency, reliability, ergonomics and throughput.
  • Apply statistical methods, lean manufacturing principles and perform product and process analysis for cost reduction, quality improvement and improved efficiency.
  • Support robotic technical development and the development of associated skills related to robotics across the organization.
  • Research new and developing technologies relating to safety, robotics, and other manufacturing processes.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Pursuing a Bachelor's degree (B.A. or B.S.) in Mechanical, Manufacturing, or Industrial Engineering. 0-2 years related experience preferred.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Comfortable working in a high-volume, fast-paced environment.
  • Customer service mindset and ability to stay calm under pressure.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

  • Must be pursuing a bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, or Industrial Engineering., computer science, and data analytics or closely related filed.
  • Strong problem solving and communication skills are required.

LANGUAGE SKILLS

  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general technical procedures. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from team and management.
