This role focuses on optimizing milling strategies, machine libraries, and toolpath efficiencies across our digital ecosystem, including MillBox, SUM3D, and related systems. The ideal candidate will also leverage Fusion 360 or equivalent CAD platforms to perform fixture design, model adaptation, and library management that supports our end-to-end manufacturing process.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, test, and optimize CAM strategies for multi-axis milling workflows in MillBox and SUM3D.
  • Maintain and refine tool libraries, stock definitions, and machining templates across multiple milling systems and material types.
  • Collaborate with production and design teams to improve toolpath quality, machining accuracy, and cycle times.
  • Use Fusion 360 (or equivalent) for 3D modeling, fixture design, and library updates supporting manufacturing operations.
  • Troubleshoot and validate milling operations to ensure alignment with machine kinematics, tooling specifications, and quality standards.
  • Implement process improvements for repeatability, surface finish, and material yield across zirconia, titanium, and PMMA workflows.
  • Support integration between CAD, CAM, and case management systems (e.g., DentalDB, Exocad) for streamlined data flow and traceability.
  • Develop and maintain documentation, SOPs, and training resources for CAM setup and execution.
