Job Summary

You will assist skilled tradespeople by performing a variety of physical tasks, supporting the smooth operation of construction sites, and ensuring safety and efficiency at every step. Responsibilities

  • Assist with loading, unloading, and organizing materials and tools on-site to ensure smooth workflow.
  • Support carpenters, masons, electricians, and other tradespeople by holding materials, measuring, and preparing work areas.
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment by removing debris, securing tools, and adhering to safety protocols.
  • Help with site setup and breakdown, including moving equipment and setting up safety barriers.
  • Follow instructions from supervisors carefully to complete assigned tasks efficiently and accurately.
  • Conduct basic site inspections to identify potential hazards or issues that need attention.
  • Support in maintaining inventory of supplies and tools needed for daily operations.
  • Communicate effectively with team members to coordinate tasks and ensure project timelines are met.

Experience

  • Some experience in construction preferred (drywall, framing, trim, demo, etc.)
  • Ability to perform physically demanding tasks such as lifting heavy materials, standing for extended periods, and working outdoors in various weather conditions.
  • Strong work ethic with reliability and punctuality.
  • Good communication skills and ability to follow directions clearly.
  • Basic understanding of safety procedures on construction sites is a plus but not mandatory. This role is ideal for individuals looking to develop foundational skills in construction while working in a lively, team-oriented environment.   • Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work efficiently with hand and power tools

Job Type: Part-time
