Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled, reliable, and detail-oriented Millwork Drafter to be part of our dedicated team at Wright-Ryan Construction. In this role, you will create high-quality plans, drawings, and designs for Millwork that meet customer needs and keep production running smoothly. Working closely with the Millwork Manager, this role thrives in a fast-paced environment and puts strong drafting skills to good use.

Key Responsibilities
- Create detailed drawings using software like AutoCAD, Cabinet Vision, and SolidWorks
- Draft conceptual plans that clearly show the vision of the project
- Coordinate the flow of shop drawings to ensure that our shop staff can efficiently produce the custom millwork
- Work from a range of materials including architectural drawings and design plans
- Develop dimensions, material specs and production methods for new products and custom millwork items
- Troubleshoot issues and suggest solutions to stay on schedule and meet quality standards
- Help with assembling custom cabinetry as needed
Education, Experience, and Skills
- High School diploma and/or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Five years+ of drafting in millwork business
- Strong knowledge of AutoCAD, Cabinet Vision, and SolidWorks, etc.
- Solid understanding of woodworking materials and construction methods.
- Ability to communicate effectively in a professional manner both verbally and in writing
- Ability to represent the Company and its reputation in a positive manner
- Comfortable juggling multiple projects, staying organized, and meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge and experience using a variety of hand tools, power tools, and woodworking machinery
- Knowledge of construction safety standards with ability to operate shop tools and equipment in a safe manner
- Must be able to lift pounds as needed
