Arlington, Virginia, United States Nooks Full time

About Nooks
Are you seeking an exciting and unique opportunity to grow and support our national security? As a startup, we are offering a limited-time opportunity to be an equity owner in a pioneering new industry. Nooks is pioneering Classified Infrastructure-as-a-Service (CIaaS) to provide government and industry partners with the fastest, most efficient access to classified infrastructure. We are building a nationwide network of accredited classified spaces and systems, ensuring that the best technologies equip our nation's warfighters. At Nooks, we value innovation, collaboration, and a service-first mindset.

About The Role
The Senior Partnership Manager will own and expand strategic relationships across key government and industry partners, focusing on current and future strategic government contracts, DoD Program Executive Offices (PEOs), enterprise decision-makers, and other high-impact channels. This role blends strategy and execution—building frameworks for partnership development while directly managing and deepening critical relationships. Operating with a high degree of autonomy, this individual will represent Nooks externally, drive measurable growth, and help shape the company's broader partnership strategy as our network scales. Over time, this role may expand in scope as Nooks continues to grow.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and grow strategic relationships with federal and defense partners.
  • Lead initiatives tied to key government contracts and federal PEOs and resource managers to expand Nooks' classified infrastructure and supporting services offering.
  • Collaborate with leadership to identify, negotiate, and activate new partnership opportunities.
  • Develop and execute a go-to-market strategy and activities that drive top-line revenue growth with government and industry stakeholders.
  • Work closely with real estate and product teams to align Nook's overall site and product growth with demand signals.
  • Manage partnership efforts and workstreams with external consultants/advisors to maximize ROI.
  • Serve as the principal partnership leader, coordinating a cross-functional internal team (e.g, real estate, product, finance, legal) to ensure rapid due diligence and formal agreement closure.

The Skillset

  • 8+ years in business development or partnership management within federal or defense sectors.
  • Deep understanding of government procurement, contracting, and acquisition pathways.
  • Proven ability to build credibility and long-term relationships with senior stakeholders.
  • Executive-grade presentation skills with emphasis on storytelling and cross-functional alignment.
  • Experience managing external consultants and advisors.
