Loveland, Colorado, United States PeakView Pastures LLC Full time

Overview

We are seeking a caring and responsible Part-time Nanny/Babysitter to provide attentive childcare for two 3 and 4 year old boys. This role offers flexibility and an opportunity to make a positive impact on children's development. The ideal candidate will have experience working with children, including infants and toddlers, and possess a nurturing demeanor. Prior experience in childcare, babysitting, or daycare is highly valued. This position requires a commitment to safety, cleanliness, and engaging activities that promote learning and well-being.

Our Children are current enrolled in pre-school Mon-Fri from 9am to 3pm.

We both work full time jobs and need supplemental help with drop off and pick up, as well as some additional care in the afternoons after school.

Both boys are sweet, playful, engaging, creative, and potty trained.

We also live on property and have a hobby farm, so comfort around animals (large & small) is ideal.

  • Maintain a clean and organized environment by performing light cleaning related to childcare
  • Follow any specific routines or schedules provided by parents or guardians
  • Administer basic first aid when necessary and respond appropriately to emergencies
  • Support children's developmental milestones through teaching and nurturing activities
  • Communicate effectively with parents regarding children's progress, behavior, or concerns
  • Not required, but if you were able to cook dinner for the family some evenings that would be a huge help.

Qualifications

  • Prior experience with children in settings such as babysitting, nannying, daycare, or teaching roles
  • Knowledge of infant care, toddler care, and preschool activities
  • Certification or training in first aid and CPR is preferred but not required
  • Ability to cook nutritious meals and perform light cleaning related to childcare duties
  • Experience working with children with disabilities is a plus
  • Compassionate, patient, reliable, and able to work independently
