Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and skilled Golf Cart Mechanic and Delivery Driver to join our team. This dual-role position involves maintaining and repairing golf carts to ensure optimal performance, as well as delivering carts to various locations on-site or off-site. The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical aptitude, experience with electrical testing tools such as an ohmmeter, and a valid driver's license. This role offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic environment where attention to detail and customer service are essential.

Duties

  • Diagnose, repair, and perform routine maintenance on golf carts, including electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic systems
  • Use tools such as ohmmeters to test electrical components and troubleshoot issues effectively
  • Perform safety inspections to ensure carts meet operational standards
  • Keep detailed records of repairs and maintenance performed on each vehicle
  • Deliver golf carts to designated locations promptly and safely, ensuring proper handling during transit
  • Assist with the setup and breakdown of carts for events or daily operations
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols at all times
  • Communicate effectively with team members and clients regarding delivery schedules and repair status

Requirements

  • Proven experience in vehicle repair or maintenance, preferably with electric or golf carts
  • Proficiency in using electrical testing tools such as an ohmmeter
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
  • Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent communication skills for coordinating deliveries and repairs
  • Reliable transportation for off-site deliveries if required
