About Wintec
Wintec's global supply chain services division sells to OEMs, contract manufacturers, and suppliers. Our business process outsourcing services focus on implementing programs for buffer inventory, last time buys and end of life programs for our customers. These solutions may be complimented by a structured financing solution. We integrate into the existing supply chain ecosystem. We are seeking a driven sales professional experienced in selling to supply-chain and/or treasury. You will be responsible for building the business from the ground up.
Role Summary
You will be responsible for generating new business opportunities, building a network, driving outreach, and managing the full sales cycle (often long and complex) in a global environment. Starting with no book of business, you will leverage your industry contacts, create engagement through creative prospecting methods. Once an opportunity is defined, sales cycles can run 3–6 months or extend into years, so tenacity, relationship-building, and long-term strategic thinking are key.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a strategic prospecting plan to identify and engage target accounts in manufacturing, electronics supply/distribution, contract manufacturing.
- Leverage existing network, cold outreach, and other creative channels to build pipeline.
- Qualify prospective clients, uncover business needs, articulate Wintec's value proposition, and propose tailored solutions.
- Manage a long-lead sales cycle, nurture relationships, engage cross-functional stakeholders, negotiate terms, and close deals.
- Support global clients across multiple time zones and coordinate with regional teams as needed.
- Collaborate with internal operations, IT, legal, finance, and delivery teams to ensure smooth client onboarding and ongoing satisfaction.
- Attend and represent Wintec at trade shows, conferences, webinars, and networking events.
- Maintain accurate CRM records, provide sales forecasts, monitor competition, and share market insights with leadership.
- Work independently with initiative, creativity, and resilience.
Qualifications & Experience
- 5+ years of sales experience in one or more of the following: business process outsourcing to manufacturing companies; electronics supplier/distributor; or contract manufacturing.
- Strong network within the manufacturing, supply chain, or electronics sector.
- Comfortable with long sales cycles (3–6 months and beyond) and capable of maintaining momentum over time.
- Experience working with global clients across multiple time zones.
- Ability to create and lead webinars, presentations, and events with minimal marketing support.
- Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- Self-motivated and entrepreneurial mindset with strong organizational discipline.
