Shift: Evening | 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM
Local Pay: $1,152/week
Position Overview:
"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) / Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) for an exciting job in Montour Falls, NY.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct patient care in alignment with nursing standards and facility policies.
- Administer prescribed medications and treatments safely and accurately.
- Monitor and document vital signs, symptoms, and responses to treatment.
- Communicate any changes in patient condition to supervising clinicians.
- Maintain accurate and timely medical documentation.
- Assist patients with daily living activities, including hygiene, mobility, and nutrition.
- Support patient and family education on health maintenance and care plans.
- Adhere to infection control and safety protocols.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to promote positive patient outcomes.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by clinical supervisors.
Qualifications:
- Active and unrestricted LPN/LVN license in New York State.
- CPR/BLS certification required.
- Strong clinical, communication, and organizational skills.
- Ability to thrive in a collaborative, team-based environment.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
Education:
- Graduate of an accredited Practical or Vocational Nursing program (required).
Preferred Experience:
- Previous experience in long-term care (required).
- Familiarity with Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems preferred.
