Job's mission

As an Engineer in Technical Project Management at ASM, you'll help drive product change initiatives that shape the future of semiconductor technology. You'll work with global teams to ensure smooth transitions from concept to execution, optimizing processes and aligning with operational needs. This is your opportunity to influence innovation at scale while building expertise in systems engineering and project management.

What you will be working on

  • Lead product baseline and change processes for a designated business unit.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand product baselines and change control requirements.
  • Identify components and assemblies to ensure successful implementation of product changes across operations and customer-installed bases.
  • Develop and refine product change management processes to improve efficiency and minimize inventory impact.
  • Provide product support to manufacturing, supply chain, and product management teams.
  • Manage engineering documentation and ensure adherence to standards.
  • Oversee planning functions to ensure effective change implementation dates.
  • Maintain expertise in PLM and ERP systems, BOM platforms, and DMU modeling.

What we are looking for

  • Bachelor's degree in mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering (or related field).
  • Up to 3 years of experience in engineering or technical project management (internships and co-ops count).
  • Coursework or exposure to Systems Engineering, Project Management, Industrial Engineering, or Supply Chain.
  • Familiarity with PLM systems (e.g., Teamcenter) and ERP systems (e.g., SAP S4 Hana).
  • Basic proficiency in 3D CAD modeling (e.g., CREO).
  • Understanding of ASME Y14.5 GD&T practices.
